Vrai, the lab-created diamond jewelry brand owned by Diamond Foundry, is offering brides who’ve had to change their wedding plans in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic the chance to win jewelry for their bridesmaids—and a significant discount on their own wedding rings or styles.
The Vrai Bridal Sweepstakes, running from July 20 to Aug. 20, is gifting a trio of jewelry packages to three winners designed to “help them celebrate their special day in style,” according to a prepared release on the promotion.
“Now more than ever, it’s important to spread love and hope throughout the world—and remind everyone to celebrate life’s true moments,” Vrai CEO Mona Akhavi tells JCK. “We wanted to support couples whose wedding plans have been impacted and to share their unique stories, serving as a symbol of hope and inspiration to others.”
Each prize package includes a Vrai gift credit toward the purchase of wedding bands and/or jewelry and jewelry gifts for bridesmaids. On the sweepstakes’ landing page, the brand writes, “To all the couples who had to postpone or forgo their dream weddings this year, VRAI is toasting to love’s enduring ways, and inviting you to share your story.”
The grand prize, which is valued at up to $7,500, includes a $2,000 credit toward wedding bands and/or jewelry ($2,000 minimum order amount), a personal virtual appointment with a diamond specialist, and a pair of pear-shape diamond stud earrings for up to 11 bridesmaids (valued up to $5,500).
Second and third prize in the sweepstakes includes a $1,000 and $500 credit toward wedding bands and/or jewelry, respectively, a personal virtual appointment with a diamond specialist, and jewelry gifts for up to 10 bridesmaids, including up to five pairs of the pear-shape stud earrings and up to five Shimmer chain necklaces in yellow gold.
In the fields entrants are required to fill out for the sweepstakes, the brand asks brides to state, in 100 words or less, how their jewelry plans have been impacted by the events of 2020.
Vrai was founded by Vanessa Stofenmacher and Chelsea Nicholson as Vrai & Oro in 2014, and bought by Diamond Foundry in 2016. Stofenmacher left the company in February 2020 to pursue other ventures.
