Omi Privé is looking to gift one special health care worker with a pretty major piece of bling.
The fine jewelry brand has debuted a giveaway on its Instagram page, dubbed the Superhero Giveaway, which will culminate in the gifting of one 18k white gold pendant featuring a 0.64 ct. round sapphire accented with 0.23 ct. t.w. round sapphires and 0.11 ct. t.w. round diamonds. The necklace is valued at $6,300.

On its website, the brand states that it’s looking for “one brave person who’s been working on the front lines” of the COVID-19 crisis and has put out a call for candidates. “We welcome your nominations of someone you know (or yourself if you are a nurse, doctor, x-ray tech, receptionist, social worker, cleaning or food service worker in a hospital or medical setting).” The company is accepting nominations through May 5. Nominations are made using a form on this landing page (on the same form, there’s a checkbox that allows users to opt into the brand’s email list—a smart bit of marketing integration).
A post on Omi Privé’s Instagram feed published Friday introduced the giveaway with the following message: “The team of Omi Privé cares. We want to hear your superhero stories and show our gratitude for every healthcare worker during the COVID-19 crisis…to nominate, visit the link in bio and tell us all about your ‘superhero’—anyone that you believe should be recognized for their bravery, selflessness, and courage in these difficult times.”
