Pandora has added to its marketing team. These new hires are part of the strategic reorganization announced in March.
The new structure divides Pandora’s products into two global business units—Moments: Charms and Collaborations, which seems to encompass its traditional offerings; and Style: New Collections and Innovation.
To head up the Moments global unit, Pandora has recruited Frédérique “Fred” Gouzard. She served as a former global brand marketing director for De Beers Diamond Jewelers and has also worked for Johnson & Johnson, Colgate-Palmolive, and beauty brand Coty. Gouzard is a French national and is currently based in Paris.
The Style global business unit will be run by Raul Duque Ruiz, a former global associate brand director with Procter & Gamble who has also worked with Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci. Ruiz is a Spanish national currently based in Geneva.
They will both join Pandora on May 4 and report to Pandora’s chief marketing officer Carla Liuni, who joined Pandora last month.
In addition, Susanne Jul Jakobsen will move from vice president, group product management, to become vice president, global business unit, end-to-end process. She’ll report directly to Liuni and work closely with the new global business heads.
Prior to Pandora, Jakobsen spent almost seven years working with Danish porcelain brand Royal Copenhagen, where she held the roles of manager of strategic projects and executive support as well as export manager. Jakobsen, who is Danish and lives in Denmark, started the new position on Wednesday.
“Our new joiners are talented global marketeers, and we are confident their valuable insights and experience will be a huge asset in setting this new direction,” Liuni said in a statement.
