Color is a powerful thing. It influences the way people think and feel and can signify a number of things. For example, you often find mouthwash in colors such as blue and green, because those colors generate feelings of cleanliness. It’s said that yellow is calming, which I personally find to be true (in muted shades). Many gyms are painted electrifying colors, to energize and inspire. Right now, as I write this, I’m so darn cold that the only colors giving me comfort are the warm ones—reds and oranges, mostly. A brisk walk to work and imagining things much warmer than myself at the moment seemed to help, if only a little. I popped into the office to browse some new jewels on Marketplace, paying favor to the warmer-hued ones (I have another tab open to hunt for deals on tropical vacations). These are the pieces I’m sharing with you, in the hope that they’ll help to warm your spirits, your showcases, and your customers’ jewelry boxes.
