Its new 820-square- foot branded store will be located in Laox Watch
Chow Tai Fook is continuing its expansion out of its traditional home base of China and Hong Kong by opening a branded store in Tokyo.
Its new 820-square- foot branded store will be located in Laox Watch, a tax-free timepiece store located in Shinjuku, a Tokyo transit hub. The new retail location will sell gold and gem-set jewelry.
Chow Tai Fook managing director Kent Wong said in a statement that his company “hopes to tap into the growing demand for leisure spending of Chinese. Together with opportunities arising from 2020 Tokyo Olympics, we see great business potentials in the Japanese market.”
In November, the 2,000-store chain announced it was opening a boutique at a Macy’s in Queens.
