Jewelers Mutual Insurance Co. has announced the promotion of Carol Sanders to executive vice president and chief operating officer.

“The Jewelers Mutual’s board of directors unanimously approved Carol’s appointment to EVP and COO,” said president and CEO Darwin Copeman in a statement. “We’re confident in her ability to produce strong company results and manage our daily operations.”

Sanders most recently served as the company’s senior vice president, chief financial officer, and corporate treasurer. Prior to joining Jewelers Mutual, Sanders had 12 years of experience in corporate finance and three years in public accounting.
