Michael Hill’s nine U.S. retail stores saw 16.9 percent same-store sales growth over the last year, the company said.
Overall sales were $9.5 million for the period—the 12 months ending June 30—a 17.7 percent increase over the year before.
A statement said the company’s board was “satisfied” with its growth in the United States.
The group’s other regions did not hold up as well. Australian comps were down 2.3 percent, but New Zealand comps were up 7.3 percent, and Canada’s were up 5.7 percent. Overall same-store sales declined 0.3 percent, to $473 million.
