Twitter is best known as a social networking platform, but one Philadelphia jeweler also appears to be using it as a collection service.
On June 17, Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson—after signing a five-year, $47 million contract—tweeted:
We came from nothing so a course we going to embrace it when we make it..

The tweet led Celebrity Jeweler, the Twitter handle for Shyne Jewelers in Philadelphia, to tweet back:
@DeseanJackson10 so when you make it, does that mean play people when you can….u forgetting you still got a balance with me

A few minutes later, the account tweeted:
@DeseanJackson10 so now that you embrace making it why don’t you embrace keeping it real with me and not playing me for my jewelry

Messages left with Shyne Jewelers and DeSean Jackon’s agent were not returned.
