Reality TV star Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi recently received an engagement ring purchased at B&B Jewelers in Wayne, N.J. Ben Bekdas, the store’s owner, designed the 5.02 ct. ring with help from Polizzi’s fiancé, Jionni LaValle.

Athough LaValle surprised Polizzi with the ring, according to Bekdas, Polizzi was in the store a few months ago for her birthday and hinted about ring styles she liked. “She wanted something timeless and simple,” Bekdas tells JCK.

The $55,000 custom Eternity ring features a 2 ct. t.w. diamond band with a 3.02 ct. princess-cut diamond in the center. “She liked the top of one ring and the side of the other,” Bekdas says. “We combined both styles to create a unique ring.”

The New Jersey jewelry store has previously done business with Polizzi’s family, including her father and uncle.

Bekdas says that the Jersey Shore star was happily surprised by her engagement. “The couple will be coming in to look at wedding bands within the next month,” he adds.
