De Beers Diamond Jewellers announced Devon Pike as the chief
executive officer of its U.S. business on May 16.

She replaces Hamida Bekaldi, who announced her resignation in September 2010. 

A graduate of
Harvard Business School, Pike previously served as a senior vice president at
Juicy Couture. She also spent six years at Polo Ralph Lauren, where she managed
global business development and was general merchandise manager of the Rugby
Ralph Lauren brand.

De Beers Diamond Jewellers is the company’s retail chain,
owned jointly by the company and LVMH. Its U.S. business currently consists of 11 stores and an e-commerce division.

The news comes on the same day as the De Beers Group named a
new CEO.
