Designer’s Achievement Awards to be presented in Las Vegas

The Contemporary Design Group, Doylestown, Pa., has announced that The Designer’s High Achievement Awards will be presented on May 30, during the group’s annual dinner at the Tsunami Asian Grill in the Venetian Complex, Las Vegas, beginning at 7:30 pm.

The awards honor the best in the designer jewelry industry. Members of the Contemporary Design Group vote for the winner in each category.

Awards are presented for Designer of the Year, Best Designer Supplier, Best Designer Retailer, and Best Designer Advocate. The 2002 Award winners, George Sawyer, Myron Toback Co., M.H. Rheinhold, and Sky Hall, respectively, will be the presenters of the 2003 Awards. The highly respected Hall of Fame Award, presented on alternate years, was given to Alan Revere in 2002. The Hall of Fame will next be awarded in 2004.

Representing nearly one hundred professional jewelry designers, the Contemporary Design Group has been a leader in the promotion of designers and designer jewelry since 1985. Its focus is to strengthen the ties with the retailer through consumer marketing and promotion. As the industry’s foremost authority on designer jewelry, the Contemporary Design Group is working to be the consumer destination for designer jewelry information, education and promotion.
