What’s Your Inspiration? Erica Weiner’s Mother’s Little Helper Earrings

When Erica Weiner needs stress relief, she may reach for an appropriate pharmaceutical, but she also knows that a little laughter can go a long way. Enter the New York–based designer’s Mother’s Little Helper earrings in sterling silver with white opal. The pill-shape studs feature inlay and are about the size of “a standard Xanax,” she explains. And while the Rolling Stones’ same-name tune reminds 1960s-era fans that the little yellow pills take the edge off of dull routines (think cooking), Weiner has this candid confession to make about her precious variety of wearable pills.

“Sometimes you just need a little goddamn help to get through your day,” she says in the online description for the earrings.
