The Art Deco trend isn’t going away anytime soon, and New York City-based Mastoloni knows it. That’s why the fine pearl jewelry maker debuted more black and white, and also brown, additions to its Signature collection at the show in Las Vegas. Featuring diamond beads and briolettes, the Mastoloni styles are, for sure, classic in appearance (think long strands, akoya pearls, and button-size earrings with fan motifs) but with a touch of the contemporary: graduated sizes of akoyas are evident in the necklace shown, which retails for $6,000, and fan styles feature black rhodium and black diamonds for both modern-day and Art Deco appeal.
Necklace in 18k gold with 7–11 mm. akoya pearls and 30.09 cts. t.w. black diamonds, $6,000
