Smyth Jewelers, the Baltimore–based jeweler, has named Robert Yanega chief financial officer.

Yanega joined the company in 2003. In his new role, he will lead all fiscal matters for the company and provide counsel for growth and development.

“Robert was a natural fit for this executive position,” said Smyth Jewelers president Tom Smyth. “For more than a decade, he has laid the groundwork to become a leading adviser to Smyth Jewelers, and we have every confidence that he will continue to keep our company financially fit and poised to prosper.”
