Paris jeweler Mauboussin has appointed Thierry Chaunu CEO for North America, effective Aug. 1.
Prior to joining Mauboussin, Chaunu was CEO for North and South Americas for the Italian jewelry brand Damiani. He started his jewelry career in the 1980s with Cartier as senior product manager in Paris. He also has served in executive positions for Christofle, Chopard, Leviev, and the Marina B jewelry brand.
Chaunu will be the exclusive agent for Mauboussin North America, covering the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. He will be based at the company’s flagship boutique on Madison Avenue in New York City.
