Sarin Technologies has introduced its Diamond Assay Service, which lets retailers and dealers instantly price diamonds, as well as produce cutting reports and evaluate stones for recutting.

The Web-based subscription service, which interfaces with a mobile unit, can measure a polished diamond’s current proportions and cut grade, estimate its potential value after recutting, and display real-time pricing based on the Rapaport and Idex price lists.

AGS-PGS grading software is also built-in, so users can instantly generate an AGS ASET image of any round or princess-cut diamond.
